As residents of Carroll County, we all have one thing in common.  We share the pristine beauty of this very special place in the Ozarks.  However, the beauty of our county needs to be protected.

The natural beauty of Carroll County becoming threatened is not someone else’s problem.  Rather, it is everyone’s problem because it affects us all!  By joining Keep Carroll County Beautiful, you can be an active part of the solution.  The beauty of Carroll County can be restored and preserved if people will unite and work together.

The biggest stumbling block in terms of implementing anti-litter and beautification programs is MONEY.  It is hard for people to comprehend that trash is expensive.  However, in order for trash to be removed it must be disposed of and disposal is expensive.

Consequently, Keep Carroll County Beautiful must be a membership supported organization in order to be successful.  The primary source of funding will be through annual membership donations.  Other sources of funding will be through the collection of littering fines.

Developing a large membership for Keep Carroll County Beautiful will have a positive impact on the future of Carroll County.  Because there  is strength in numbers, Keep Carroll County Beautiful can be the force that paves the way for strong enforcement of anti-littering laws, as well as the development of new programs to beautify all areas of the county.
